Climate

Dry Season from April/May until the beginning of November ( Winter) with lower humidity and cooler nights.
Temperature of the water : Between 20°and 28° depends of dive sites.

Raining Season from November until April ( Summer).
The Monsoon in Bali isn't very strong as India or Thailand and the Sunny day are often.
Temperature of the water : Between 26°and 30° depends of dive sites.

     

We dive all year around in Bali

Bali's average temperatures are at about 30/33° all year round during the day with high humidity

     

Passport & Visa

Your Passport must have at least 6 months of life left , on your date of arrival.
You can get 1 or 2 months Visa from your Indonesian Consulate before your departure.
Or directly when you arrived in Bali : U$ 25 in cash for 1 month.Max.
Don't forget to keep 100 000Rp for Airport TAX when you leave in Cash.

     
     

Customs & Duty

Free Customs allow you to bring in a maximum of 2 liters of alcoholic beverages and 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 100 grams of tobacco.

Money

The Rupiah :1 U$ = 9500Rp , 1 Euro = 12 000Rp More or Less .
The Euro is accepted everywhere, no need to exchange into US$ and i will recommend it.
Because if you have U$ Make sure bank notes are not torn or dirty and US$ notes should not be older than printing date 1999.
For No reasons moneychanger will pay lower rates for smaller notes of US$ 100 .
You can take money on ATM Machine ,specially in South on Main Town around Bali.
You can paid by Credit Card (Visa, Master, Cirrus). Surcharge 3%.
I will recommend you to carry some cash or travelers checks as a back up.

     

Electricity and Electrical Appliances

Electricity runs generally at 220V - 240 V . 24 h.

You can use your Hand Phone nearly every where in Bali and you can call oversea from Main Town or Hotel.

Internet Connection is available all around the Island ,when it is not DSL it is slow..... .But working.

     
     

Security

We always bring 2 Tanks of Oxygen & First Aid Kit in All the dive sites.

The Hyper bare Decompression Chamber is in Denpasar Sanglah Hospital. ( South Bali)

We have a Full Cover Diving PADI Insurance   (Horsell International Pty Limited )
