Bali Gili Mimpang Diving

Again, a bali diving site in southeast Candidasa, named Gili Mimpang. This Bali dive spot is one of 4 Gilis where divers can face prionurus fish and sharks as well. This Bali dive location is small archipelago of four big rocks which can be only called magic, because of the crisp and alive scenery. Over these 5 years, Gili Mimpang has improved and now has the glow of extreme health. Easy to reach and rich of coral area is the main attractions of this Bali diving site.


Often been called inaccurately as a tiga batu (three rocks), Gili Mimpang Bali diving is connected to Bali shelf, and the back part of the group is flat and shallow. Its visibility is around 10-25m and the bottom is white sand, also surrounded by rocks and boulders. The fresh growth coral and swirling with fish is all you can find in a 6-27m depths site. Situated a kilometer from northwest of Tepekong, this Bali dive spot is consisting of shark avenue and mola-mola. Some challenging currents and ocean up-welling in Mimpang supports the plantonic life that draws the whale shark, even rarely to be seen. Challenging currents, large marine life, and coral rich area are the reasons that make it the most wanted Bali dive site. Divers are able to meet majestic angelfish around the coloured sea fans along the island. Mass of colours and a hive of activity in not such a deep side to dive is Mimpang’s topography. Crimson basslets and schools of yellowfish, bannerfish are such a gentile in this marine life. Apart from that, Gili Mimpang Bali diving is a truly gift to be enjoyed.
