Those beaches are famous for everything but not for tranquility and honeymooners. Those beaches are near the airport from which you will arrive, a nice occasion to have a drink after a long way from home. All along the beaches you can find the nicest beach bars where you may meet many tourists, locals and expatriates. There atmosphere is great, with different kind of music, on wooden terrace facing the sunset or comfortably seated in a fatboy with a fresh Bintang.

BROKEN BEACH – PASIH UUG
This wonderful beach is located on Nusa Penida, an island near Bali. Within 45 minutes of speed boat, a scooter trip through a steep road and a hike down the cliff, you can relax on one of most wonderful places of the world. The name Broken Beach comes from the history of the place. The cliff collapsed, forming a circular bay, and a kind of tunnel as access to the ocean. Sometimes you can meet some Mantas swimming near the surface of water.
There’s a nice trip to do in Nusa Penida, starting from Crystal Bay through Angel’s Billabong and Broken Beach.

GREEN BOWL BEACH
This beach on south of the island is an incredible place for surfers and people looking for tranquillity or tanning. To find this place you have to go down the cliff with more than 300 stairs through a forest (beware of monkeys) to discover a wonderful beach. There’s a natural cave in the cliff where you can stay in the shade, observing surfers in a quiet atmosphere. It’s a great place for surf beginners, with small waves and not so many people on sand or in the sea. There is also a grandma, selling coconut or bottle of water because the nearest warung is on the top of cliff.

PADANG PADANG
This is a very great place for surfers ! It completely fulfills the white sand and clear water dream mixed with the unique atmosphere of surf world. It’s a beautiful spot with no off-season and waves for any surfer. There’s always a lot of people to meet and warungs or bars to have a drink and a lunch between 2 waves.

PANDAWA
Pandawa is one of the most family friendly beach in Bali. The landscape is incredible on sides of the beach, there are all facilities that a family needs: bars, restaurants, parking, warungs, massages and watersport, there is entertainment for everyone in need of a chill day and some rest. You could also enjoy the clear blue water and try snorkeling to discover a little part of the Indonesian underwater world.
SUWEHAN BEACH
If you are adventurer and able to wake up early in the morning, this beach is for you ! One of best beach in the south of Nusa Penida. The beach is down a wild road and big stairs, but the game is worth it. This beach is not very frequented so it could be a very cool place to relax. Beware of the cliff, there is sun on the beach only in the morning.

VIRGIN BEACH
Virgin Beach is also a perfect beach for people looking for authenticity and calm. It’s well known by locals and there’s enough space for the few people on the beach. You can find deckchair, some warungs and bars for a very chill-tanning day ! Virgin Beach is near Amed, well-known for his dive spot, you can try snorkeling on beaches or try diving to discover the richest underwater life.
