SD (Sekolah Dasar) - Full Pack Scuba Diving Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida’s north shore has some of Bali’s most magnificent drift diving. Around the same location, five dive spots stand out. Walls in SD, PED, Sental, and Tugu. In Indonesian, SD stands for Sekolah Dasar, which translates to “elementary school.” Because the dive location is directly across the street from the school! It’s like going to the movies when you dive SD. Because all you have to do during a drift dive is let yourself be transported by the river and enjoy the show!

SD dive locations consist of a very wide plateau, between 4 and 6 meters in depth, that is mostly sandy and occasionally hosts turtles. The plateau comes to a halt at the bottom of a steep coral slope. Around 18 meters is the best depth to view the sight, where you can see a lot of color and macro. This is very enjoyable if you go early in the morning. During the season, Mola Mola can also be found at the SD dive site. However, because it is made up of multiple dive sites, the area is quite large.

When diving in SD, the currents may change direction throughout the dive, but this is not an issue because your guide will make you travel back and forth at that moment. Downdrafts can occur under uncommon circumstances. We shall be extremely cautious when advising in these situations.
