Penida Scuba Diving is known all over the world for its spectacular marine life, which offers an astonishing diversity of experiences and may satisfy any desire! Nusa Penida is situated in the middle of the Coral Triangle, which is home to the world’s most diverse marine life!
The Coral Triangle is a marine region in the Western Pacific Ocean bordering Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and the Solomon Islands. It has a surface area of 6 million km2 and is home to an abundance of marine biodiversity. Nusa Penida scuba diving will provide you with one of the most memorable diving experiences of your life!
A diverse marine biodiversity can be found in the Coral Triangle. The region gets its name from the enormous number of corals it supports, with approximately 600 different species found on the reefs alone, accounting for more than 75% of the world’s coral species!
Scuba diving at Nusa Penida will allow you to discover fantastic small creatures on macro / muck diving sites (Amed, Cental, Ped, Crystal Bay, or Buyuk!), drift along the current encountering turtles and coral fields of various hues along the coast of Nusa Penida / Nusa Lembongan, or meet the majestic Manta Rays or the unusual but famous Sun Fish (Mola-Mola)!
We also offer the option of customizing your own Diving (or Snorkeling) Safari in Penida at Dune. Penida’s diversity is not restricted to the undersea realm; learn about its culture, rice fields, beaches, forests, and so much more! Throughout your stay, you’ll be accompanied by instructors who speak English or French. We usually offer safaris that last between 8 and 15 days, but everything may be tailored to your specific needs!
